What this means for you is that when you are lucid dreaming, you know that you are having a dream, in the same way that when you step into the bus terminal you know you&#8217;re in the bus terminal and not in the countryside or out on the street. And, because of your awareness, you are able to exert a great deal of control over what happens in your dream.</p>
<p> Having the power to completely control the direction of your <a href="http://www.luciddreaminginfo.com/lucid-dreams/">lucid dreams</a> is part of your basic metaphysical existence. All the limitations you feel in life cease to exist swiftly.</p>
<p> But this begs the question: can it really be so easy? Is <a href="http://www.luciddreaminginfo.com/">lucid dreaming</a> accessible to all? If it really is that easy why doesn&#8217;t everybody do it?</p>
<p> Lucid dreaming is not so difficult to practice. There are various studies that prove you can do this, if you really want to learn how to use this powerful medium of expressing your inner desires.</p>
<p> Perhaps most important of all is that you need to be perfectly clear regarding your personal objective in trying to master lucid dreaming. Are these lucid dreams for your own private playground, or do you have something more serious in mind? <p> The time required for preparing the subconscious mind to experience lucid dreaming can be reduced greatly with hypnosis for some individuals. Generally one or two hypnosis sessions allows you to continually recall all your dreams. Your mind is conditioned for lucid dreaming once this happens.</p>
<p> On occasion, you may suddenly find yourself wide awake during a lucid dream. However, you will easily be able to recall all the essential details of your dream with the power you have achieved thus far. You can simply relax and fall back asleep, while you continue in the desired direction in your dream. Upon awaking you will realize that you have experienced the power of conscious dreaming the previous night.</p>
<p> Lucid dreams can be readily induced by going back to sleep for a couple of hours after you wake up in the morning. These dreams are the closest to lucid dreams, because they seem to be borderline between actual dreams or your conscious thoughts manifested in anticipation of an event for that day. Just set an alarm clock to go off a couple of hours before you will be waking up for the day, then turn it off and go back to sleep to experience lucid dreaming.</p>
<p> When trying to have lucid dreams, it is helpful to become familiar with your sleeping habits so as to be aware of the best times to try for lucid dreaming.</p>
<p> Lucid dreaming is potent for helping cure insomnia. All you must do is suggest to your mind that sleeping means the same thing as lucid dreaming, and then your own subconscious mind will take care of all the thoughts that are preventing you from falling asleep.</p>
<p> Recent advances in sound technologies have made it much faster and easier for one to learn lucid dreaming.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wouldn�t it be nice to have a <a href="http://www.luciddreaminginfo.com/lucid-dream/">lucid dream</a>, to be aware you are dreaming and control what happens? Of course you do, but how does one learn to do this?</p>
<p> Knowing why you have chosen to become a <a href="http://www.luciddreaminginfo.com/lucid-dreamer/">lucid dreamer</a> is important. How can it benefit you personally? To know this we can work backwards from what it considered normal sleep.</p>
<p> Why is <a href="http://www.luciddreaminginfo.com/lucid-dreaming/">lucid dreaming</a> different from normal sleep? When you lie down to go to sleep, your eyes close and hopefully you go to sleep. When you wake up you remember dreaming something or you don�t remember anything at all.Kind of strange when you think about it.</p>
<p> The human body has a built in requirement for sleep. It rests the body so that we are prepared to continue our lives. Without it, there is strong evidence for insanity. That is all well and good but there is nothing saying we cannot control certain aspects of sleep is there?</p>
<p> How would you like to control what you do while in your dream? Control the events that happen in it in any way you like. A lucid dreamer is in complete control of their dreams.They are able to enter the spiritual realm of existence far removed from what exists in the physical waking hours.</p>
<p> Are you are ready to begin but remain unsure of how any of this is possible? That is ok we are getting there, there are two way to enter lucid dream state. The first is a dream initiated lucid dream, (DILD). This happens once you have already begun to dream and during the dream, you come to the realization that you are indeed dreaming. At this point, you have brought an element of control to the dream because your conscious mind is now involved.</p>
<p> The second method is to have a wake initiated lucid dream, or WILD. In these situations,the dreamer goes from awake to lucid dream with no change in consciousness. The dreamer simply begins dreaming without having the sensation of falling asleep.</p>
<p> How exactly do you induce either one of these lucid dream states?</p>
<p> Dream Recall</p>
<p> You will need to learn how to remember your dreams if you want to be able to have lucid dreams. It is referred to as dream recall, the ability to remember your dreams. If you can remember your dreams you are more likely to realize when you are dreaming because many of the dreams you have will be the same or almost the same.</p>
<p> Keeping a dream journal is the best way to learn this skill. A dream journal is for writing down anything which you can remember about your dreams for future reference. You should do this immediately after waking up; the longer you wait, the harder it will be to recall.</p>
<p> MILD refers to Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams</p>
<p> Dr Steven LaBerge is a leading scientist who studies lucid dreaming. He was the founder of MILD. This method involves telling yourself you will remember your dreams or perhaps an object in the dream. When you see the object while dreaming it will trigger your mind into knowing you are in a dream.</p>
<p> WBTB refers to Wake Back to Bed</p>
<p> In this technique, you sleep and set your alarm for only a few hours from the time that you go to bed. Upon awakening, don&#8217;t go right back to sleep � stay awake for about an hour, then go back to bed.</p>
<p> Dr, LaBerge says that his method has a 60% rate of success. Why is this? Basically, you wake in the middle of an REM cycle, so when you return to sleep, you will have a better chance of lucid dreaming.</p>
<p> Cycle Adjustment Technique</p>
<p> Developed by Daniel Love, this involves setting your alarm to wake about 90 minutes earlier than usual; once you acclimate to this, set your alarm to wake you up alternately early and at the time you used to get up. At those times when you wake up at the usual time, you&#8217;ll be accustomed to waking early. This means that you are more likely to lucid dream during this last hour and a half.</p>
<p> When you consider all the methods and techniques wake initiated is by far the most intriguing way to enter lucid dreams. What you have to do is manage to keep the brain aware while the rest of you falls asleep. You can enter your dreams much like entering a theater. You go into watch the movie, set down and the light go down, (sleep) dark envelopes you just before the movements on the screen appear.</p>
<p> To get into this correct frame of mind if you will there are a few tricks you can use. Focus seems to be key so try to focus your mind on things like your breathing, counting, perhaps chant or meditate. In a way, you are practicing self-hypnosis. Use this technique when you are not extremely tired, perhaps during a late nap.</p>
<p> Some of the methods which can keep you mentally alert are chanting, being aware of your breathing, counting, and picturing yourself climbing up or down stairs and focusing on relaxing your body from head to toe. All of these techniques fall under the umbrella of self hypnosis. The best time to use this technique is when you are not physically tired, especially in the afternoon.</p>
<p> They now have tools you can use to make it even easier to induce lucid dreams. You can get dreaming masks and devices with strobe lights to help you get into the right state of dreaming.</p>
<p> The best and easiest way to achieving the state of lucid dreaming is by using headphones.You should listen to sounds that naturally alter your brainwaves, these are called binaural beats.</p>
<p> This type of sound can alter your brain and bring you to the REM stage of sleep very quickly. This is where your lucid dreaming will occur.</p>
<p> With a combination of self affirmations, self hypnosis and binaural sounds, being a lucid dreamer is something anyone can do successfully.</p>
